• Exceptional workability:

AVAGEL S2 is both easy to apply and at the same time retains its volume, even under the weight of heavy tiles – thixotropic at any thickness from 2 to 15 mm.

• Thixotropic & Fluid:

AVAGEL S2 can be prepared to a thixotropic and fluid consistency. Thanks to its variable rheology, full wettability of the entire tile is guaranteed. GEL technology is a revolution in the way of gluing tiles in situations that are problematic and difficult for traditional adhesives.

• Retains volume after hardening:

AVAGEL S2 does not change its volume during hardening. This is especially important when installing large tiles (1,60m x 3,20m) with a thickness of 3 to 6 mm.

• Exceptional connection strength:

The adhesive strength of AVAGEL S2 has been tested through a series of rigorous tests to ensure a strong bond under all possible conditions.

• Thixotropic and fluid product;
• 100% transfer on the back of the tile (no voids);
• Maintains shape and volume (does not sag);
• For laying all sizes of tiles, including the largest 150 x 300 cm;

  Water for preparation of AVAGEL (EN 1348), in standard operation:
  – 7,5 L (30%) per bag /25 kg;
  To apply thin and 100% transfer to the back of the tile:
  – ≈ 8,0 L (≈ 32%) per bag /25 kg;
  For laying walls and thick:
  – ≈ 7,0 L (≈ 28%) per bag /25 kg;

• Application thickness 2 to 15 mm
• Application temperature from +5 °C to +35 °C
• Life of the mixture at +23 °C ≈ 6 h
• Open time at +23 °C ≥ 30 min.
• Open time at +35 °C ≥ 20 min.
• Time for corrections at: +23 °C ≥ 20 min.; at +35 °C ≥ 15 min.
• Foot traffic/grouting at +23 °C – ≈ 24 h
• Foot traffic/grouting at +5 °C – ≈ 50 h
• Grouting on walls at +23 °C – ≈ 20 h
• Commissioning at +23 °C:– traffic ≈ 2 – 3 days– heavy load ≈ 7 – 9 days

  Storage: 12 months from the date of production in original and undamaged packaging in a dry place.
