AQUA BARRIERA FUTURA is a one-component cement-based waterproofing membrane. When mixed with water only, it forms a pasty mixture with excellent workability characteristics with a trowel, roller or brush horizontally and vertically. AQUA BARRIERA FUTURA adheres firmly to all surfaces - concrete, masonry, ceramics, stone.

• Excellent workability.
• FUTURA is certified according to EN 14891.
• Bridges cracks in the base, even at sub-zero temperatures (-5°C).
• FUTURA provides secure waterproofing with only 2 mm layer thickness.
• Resistant to a pressure of 1,5 bar of water (15 m water column);
• It can be laid on old tile, stone, mosaic flooring;
• Allows the base to breathe;
• Resistant to constant contact with alkaline, chlorinated and sea water;
• Resistant to UV rays;

Areas of use:

• For waterproofing swimming pools, terraces and balconies, bathrooms, showers, tanks and rooms subject to high humidity;
• Waterproofing of terraces and balconies before installing ceramic tiles, granite and stone with cement adhesives;
• Waterproofing of old terraces without destroying the existing floor covering of tiles, stone, mosaic.
• Protection of concrete from acid rain, from carbonation caused by high CO2 content contained in waste gases (tunnels, bridges, road structures), from salt or sulfate attacks from seawater.
• Moisture protection of plasterboard, fiber cement, metal, and wood panels;
• Aesthetic leveling of plasters or cracked concrete.
